My garden is growing like crazy!!!

Remember this flower bed - it once looked like this - but now it's a beautiful specimen. Hopefully these luscious specimens will start to shoot up blooms here quite soon!

These are my Black-Eyed Susans...well, except for that big fat WEED right in the middle of the photo. How he got there I'll never know. Well...I do know...it's been weeks since I last weeded that bed and he sprang up over night. Also growing like crazy are my varigated hostas in the back. All of these were given to me by my Mom, um, 3 years ago? They were little sprigs and have now grown into full sized beauties!

Black-eyed Susans...it'll be time to split these up before long....

Oh! Look! It's a bloom on an iris plant! I do hope there are many more where this one came from!

Oh...and monster hands...this is what happens when you let Shooter get his hands dirty...he comes after YOU! Booger...

do I see chimchurri in the near future?

Di - hahaha....I decided I'm not growing the veggies this year. I'm taking a break from it. I may do some parsley though...and basil. Not the tomatoes and peppers though. If I do decide to do the parsley, yes, the chimchurri fairy will visit as well this summer. :-)

Nice! You can't go wrong with basil, it's great in everything! Oh, and you can find the recipe for the sex dessert on my cooking blog.

We cleaned up in our yard last weekend, and then the next weekend, it snowed two inches. I can't wait until we get some new growth sprouting. This garden of yours sounds lovely!

Well.. it is still to cold for me to plant like that here. Give me another few weeks though!

Well, I'm just lucky to have a bunch of perennials that come back every year and multiply upon themselves. With the drought we've had the last couple of years, I haven't planted any annuals because I can't keep them alive. I am looking forward to the time where I can get back to filling my flower beds with gorgeous annuals!

Stacie - I hate to say this...but I don't even really do anything to them. I don't even cut them back like I'm supposed to. And they just keep multiplying.
